Demo Day

Twice a year, Y Combinator's latest batch of startups present to investors. This cycle there is a big change: Demo Day will be a single, day-long event (March 27 from 10 am to 6 pm) at the Computer History Museum.

Till now we had Demo Day at Y Combinator. Since we didn't have enough room to seat all the investors at once, we used to do 3 sessions, each of which we crammed into part of a day. Last August we realized Demo Day has grown to the size where it needs to be a day-long event, held at a real event venue.

If you've been to previous Demo Days, you'll be happy to hear that that the days of inadequate air-conditining, insufficient parking, and lines at the bathrooms are now behind us. And expanding to a whole day will finally allow investors the time they want for informal conversations with founders and with one another.

There are 65 startups this batch. They'll be presenting in 5 groups of 13, 2 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. There will be a longer break for lunch. Lunch and other food will be provided. We'll post a more precise schedule as we get closer to the event.

If you've already received an invitation, RSVP online using the email address you were invited with. If you're an investor and want an invitation, please email Kirsty Nathoo (kirsty@ycombinator.com).

(Due to space constraints, we may not be able fit everyone.)
