Breakdown of interview rounds:
Preliminary conversation (30 min): This is where we understand your motivation to join an early-stage productivity company and look at some of your past work. Expect questions on why you took certain decisions in your existing designs.
Whiteboarding together (90 min): We will work on a problem together where you'll be expected to create prototypes out of a complex end-to-end workflow. The idea here is not to reach a perfect solution (we realize that can't be done in 1.5 hours) but to understand how to break down the problem and what kind of questions you ask.
Compatibility (60 min): One round with someone from the engineering team to see how you work with cross functions outside of product and design.
Product/Culture (90 min): Expect questions about product thinking and understanding what gives you joy in life.
