Marketing Lead

Akute is a modern EHR for direct care medical practices. We’re early stage, scrappy, growing fast, and focused on helping practices streamline their processes so they can spend more time on patient care. Our primary users are direct primary care clinics and digital health startups, and they love us because we move quickly and solve real problems.

We’re looking for our first full-time marketing hire. You’ll own the top of the funnel with a lot of freedom, a small budget, and a product people actually want.

What you'll do

• Build and manage campaigns in HubSpot
• Write and design landing pages, emails, ads, and whitepapers
• Create and test paid ad campaigns
• Use customer insights to shape messaging and positioning
• Track what’s working, iterate quickly, and share results with our team
• Lean into AI tools to move as fast as possible (without letting our content turn into an em dash free-for-all)

• Work well without much direction and enjoy figuring things out on your own - we operate in a high-trust environment
• Are happy working from home with a small team - we’re an early stage startup, and most work will be done on your own
• Can pivot mid-project and not get frustrated by sudden changes in direction
• Can build a campaign from idea to launch without needing layers of approvals
• Consider yourself a HubSpot & Google Analytics superuser
• Write clean, clear copy that sounds like human-created instead of ChatGPT
• Know how to measure success, even when attribution is fuzzy
• Pay attention to what customers are saying and turn it into content
• Can make content + ads look polished without a design team

Bonus if you...

• Have experience in healthcare or health tech
• Can work design magic in Canva, Figma, or similar
• Have built out a content engine before

• $60,000/year salary plus benefits
• Full-time, fully remote (anywhere in the U.S.)
