About the role

You should be excited by:

  • Working with D2C brands
  • Content marketing and leveraging distribution channels to build an audience
  • Public speaking, creating & co-hosting live events (e.g. webinars)
  • Learning about and using marketing automation tools

What youโ€™ll be doing:

  • Content
    • Types of content will include, but not be limited to: Video tutorials, whitepapers, blog posts, ebooks, website copy, workflow tutorials, integration guides, etc
    • In addition, we encourage experimentation with other forms of content, such as Clubhouse sessions, video webinars, podcasts, etc
    • Collaborate with sales team on onboarding materials (tutorials, documentation center), decks, one-pagers, and other useful collateral
    • Work with customer success to produce case studies post-onboarding
  • Marketing Strategy
    • Planning: Define and execute on an editorial calendar, create new biweekly focus areas for educating our customers on different types of automation they can implement
    • Customer focus: Segment our audience and build a deep understanding of each segment. Define the customer journey for each segment and identify the content needs at each stage of the journey
    • Goal setting: Create KPIs, measure success of each campaign and content type, provide regular reports and updates on performance
  • Partnerships
    • Manage relationships with agencies and integration partners
    • Facilitate lead sharing and nurturing opportunities to pass to sales team
    • Create joint content and cohost events, increase engagement with partners via partner incentive structure
  • Community
    • Develop and manage Alloy Experts program
    • Create programming to increase engagement of overall community
    • Moderate and develop strategy for scaling

Skills & experience weโ€™re excited about

  • 2+ years of experience in high-quality content production with an SMB target audience
  • Experience managing agency & technology partnerships
  • Experience working in the ecommerce industry
  • Experience developing an editorial calendar that involves a mix of written content (white papers, announcements, partner blogs, etc), social, webinars, & more
  • Skilled with SEO optimization
