Your Role:
Alpaca Markets is looking for a leader who delivers our API products with the best value to our users. Our users are mostly developers and tech-savvy people who either trade using the API or build the next generation of fintech apps. As an API-first company, we care a lot about the details of how products are packaged so that developer communities are attracted. Working closely with the marketing team, you will be the leader who belongs to the product team (reporting into CPO), help every product manager ship their products and build the team around it.
Things You Get To Do:
- Own product launches and execute the plans under the product team
- Create contents that continuously propose different use cases of the products
- Analyze the product positioning and user archetype of each product
- Measure the success of products
- Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers and marketing members to understand both the user and product
- Build the product marketing team and mentor junior members
Who You Are (Must-Haves):
- Strong understanding of developer tool products, preferably 1+ years of professional software engineering background
- 3+ years of professional marketing experience
- Strong understanding of social media and online developer communities
- Leadership and ownership mindset
- Detail oriented mindset and skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Data analytics skills (SQL, Python, R, etc)
