About the role

About Us

At AON3D, we're more than just an industrial 3D printer manufacturer. We’re a team of the brightest, hardest working minds out there. By hiring and training our team this way, we’ve made our product better, we’ve made our journey together better, and we’ve achieved our fundraising and roadmap milestones. We’re resilient, we learn something from every single experience, and we can make orange juice out of lemons (not just your basic lemonade).

We believe that by equipping our team with the autonomy and tools that they need to do their best work, we can empower the best growth and creativity. It’s one of our core values.

Our recent success has exceeded our wildest dreams (work-related, at least). As such, we need to hire new talented experts and generalists to join our team.

We are looking for teammates who:

Thrive in smaller, fast-paced environments.

Are mission-focused and entrepreneurial minded.

Believe in constantly evolving and changing.

Are hard-working pioneers of the tech world, through one way or another.

Give as much as they take.

About this role:

We’re looking for an experienced professional that can us perform pre and post-sales consulting to our customers, so they can get the most value of our products. We’d like our next teammate to help us maintain and expand our existing materials portfolio, and act as a Subject Matter Expert in materials and print processing as well.

What we’re looking for in our next teammate:

  • Formal education in Polymer Science, (Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc.).
  • At least a few years of experience with additive manufacturing/3D printing using Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology.
  • Knowledge of systems or tools: Simplify 3D (slicer), STL or mesh editing.
  • Experience with high temperature materials in FFF (PEI, PEEK, PEKK, etc.).
  • Experience with the AON-M2 machine.
  • Experience with final Quality Control of parts or parts qualification.

What to expect after you submit your application:

We do our best to review and action all applications within 5 business days of receipt. Although we’d love to be able to speak with everyone that applies, due to the volume of applicants we receive and time constraints, only those selected to move forward will receive a follow-up.
