About the role

Founded in 2014, AptDeco is an online furniture resale marketplace that makes the buying and selling of used furniture easy, affordable, and accessible. After frustrating and uncomfortable experiences buying and selling furniture on other platforms, co-founders Reham Fagiri and Kalam Dennis set out to create a platform in which everyday decorators could re-home furniture in a safe and convenient environment. As AptDeco continues to grow nationally, it’s critical we build and launch campaigns that drive ROI and CAC.

AptDeco is seeking a data-driven, opportunistic, and knowledgeable Director of Growth Marketing & Acquisition to take us to the next level. This role will support our Marketing team and be responsible for scaling AptDeco’s marketing channels through paid, OOH and organic advertising. As the Director of Growth Marketing & Acquisition, you will be expected to drive performance and optimize results.

You will:

  • Optimize, monitor and maintain campaign performance across all marketing channels including Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest etc
  • Build out and execute upon OOH executions
  • Report, identify, and uncover performance trends and opportunities
  • Design and implement optimization tests across the entire customer funnel from acquisition to referral
  • Leverage data to strategically adjust campaigns to drive ROI and CAC
  • Partner with content marketing to build compelling content and with product, data and engineering team to ensure data accuracy
  • Consistently diagnose and audit campaign performance ensuring efficiency and conversion
  • Own and manage the results of ad channels post-launch including budgeting and reporting
  • Identify new opportunities and sources of customer acquisition

You have:

  • 7+ years of combined performance marketing experience at a B2C and/or media agency
  • A background in owning and managing a budget, forecasting, and delivering on monthly goals of spend, CAC, and LTV
  • Clear and proven history of scaling marketing channels for B2C brands
  • A deep knowledge and understanding of digital campaign management
  • Prior experience successfully scaling digital and OOH channels efficiently with a tight budget
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with an impeccable attention to detail
  • Resiliency when things don’t go as planned and a strong desire to do what it takes to win or achieve results
  • A strong understanding of the data connections to and from our database to advertising platforms
  • Proficiency in building strong relationships with external partners and vendors
  • Expertise with Facebook Business Manage, Google Ads Manager, and first party and third party attribution tools
  • Experience using Looker or any data visualization tools (Tableau, Microsoft)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 / annual salary

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of a total compensation package that also includes benefits, equity, and other opportunities at AptDeco. We created thoughtful and well researched salary ranges that take into consideration the following components: company industry, size, revenue, department, and funding stage.

As an early stage startup, we also include equity in compensation packages and believe employees should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth.

Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and balancing internal equity relative to other employees. We are confident that the overall package offered is on par if not more competitive to others at our stage.
