About the role
At Artisan, we're creating AI Employees, called Artisans, and software which is sleek, easy to use, and replaces the endless stack of point solutions. We're starting with outbound sales and our AI BDR, Ava. Our platform contains every tool needed for outbound sales - B2B data, AI email sequences, deliverability optimization tools and so much more.
We're growing very rapidly (closing $xM in new ARR each month). We recently raised a $12M seed round from top investors, and are looking for superstars to join us on our rocketship growth as we relentlessly work towards building a multi-billion dollar company 🦄
Our mission transcends any one vertical or product. We are creating consolidated software and AI employees wherever we can provide the most value. You will play a pivotal part in defining the direction of the Artisan product suite and what we build.
Key Responsibilities
- This is a role within the newly formed Ideation & Research team.
- Work with the CEO & CPO to ideate, research, rank and prioritize new verticals and products.
- Create BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) for product ideas.
- Work with our design team to create mock UIs for product ideas.
- Run user interviews, focus groups and ad smoke tests to understand market perception.
- Deep dive the competitive landscape for software categories and plan what Aritsan’s positioning could be as a new entrant.
- Research job roles across verticals to understand what functions are possible to automate and define the scope of future Artisans.
- Hand off approved products to teams within Artisan, and watch them get built!
About You:
- 3+ years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Background in Product or Consulting.
- Proven history of exceptional research skills.
- Ready to work hard to execute our mission - this isn’t a traditional 9-5.
- Excited about Artisan’s mission.
- Happy to work in-office in Russian Hill.

About Artisan
At Artisan, we're on a mission to create the most advanced human-like digital workers, called Artisans, and the software operating system for startups across verticals. We're starting with sales through our Artisan Sales platform and Ava, The Sales Rep Artisan.
Our first Artisan, Ava, is a BDR who automates the entire outbound sales process and can be set up with a 10-minute conversation. Ava creates the user's ICP, prospects with her database of over 270M contacts, does lead research, crafts & sends highly bespoke email sequences, and books meetings into sales reps' calendars.
We recently launched Artisan Labs, our research lab where we're pioneering the foundational technologies required to create human-like digital workers.
