About Ashby

We’re building the next generation of enterprise software and we’re starting with a suite of products that help talent leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers run their hiring process significantly better (we haven’t shared much publicly about what we’re building yet, but we’ll be more specific once we meet).

We are well funded and backed by great investors, including Y Combinator, Elad Gil and Lachy Groom.

We have not launched publicly yet, but we're already working with amazing companies, such as Opendoor, Plaid, Airtable, Snyk, Benchling and SalesLoft (and many others which we cannot name yet).

About this role

The essence of this role can be described in three parts: You will become an expert user of Ashby Analytics, working closely with a variety of customers in building their analytics solutions. You will be the voice of the customer to your teammates at Ashby to help focus the future of our products. Within Ashby you will collaborate closely with the product, engineering and go to market teams. External to Ashby, you will fill the role of analytics partner expert in the space of recruiting and talent analytics. It’s a pleasure to work closely with fast-moving, high-growth recruiting teams, and we think you’ll enjoy the opportunity too!

Examples of things you’ll work on:

  • Helping close our largest deals! Our enterprise customers often have highly customized requests and the solutions engineer will be there as a partner to the new business team as trials take place on live customer data. You'll implement prototypes to woo our prospects and help them see the power of Ashby Analytics.

  • Setting our new users up for success. You will work closely with the customer success team as they bring new users into Ashby and need anything from a simple initial setup or broad team training.

  • Partnering closely with the product team to distill your observations into product feedback. We move quickly at Ashby, and to help scale your efforts we'll want to resolve pain points and scale your efforts with documentation. You'll be able to contribute on both of these fronts as the voice of the customer with a pedagogical slant.

  • Jumping into support threads that get technical and need a deep dive from an analytics expert. We deal with large and complex data sets, and sometimes a domain expert is required to dig in to the details.
