UI/UX Designer

We are building the tools that empower the next generation of homeowners, families, explorers, thinkers and people to live a healthy, strong financial life: tools that matter to people. Founded in 2018, Bits is now the default way for building credit, for anyone.

Our design studio is based in London, UK, while our development team is situated remotely across Europe and South America. We're a diverse team of individuals, with decades of experience in finance, design, development and we all care greatly about the quality of products we release.

We’re still a small team, and we love new experiences and product building. With regard to design, we’re looking for someone who likes to build openly, picking up problems and solving them. The UI is what the consumer sees, touches, and manipulates, and that’s why we are hiring a UI designer who believes that the smallest of details matter.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience of UI design
• Excellent visual and interaction skills
• Excellent social skills

What you’ll do:

• Work towards the main product and design direction of the whole company
• Create UI designs (for web and mobile) for Bits and Bits Card
• Work at the epicentre of design alongside our Product Lead and Engineers
• Use, and mainly evolve our internal design system
• Create flows, prototypes and high-fidelity visuals for new features
• Be the first step towards establishing a design culture at Bits

What we value:

• A passion for design and finding UI/UX solutions and interaction obstacles
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Expressing ideas through prototyping (We use Figma and Framer)
• Experience with tools like PS, AI, AF, Figma
