Founding Engineer

Bloom (YC S21) is an app that gives the new generation of Americans (ages 13 - 17) access to investing in the stock market. Since launching in April, we've crossed over 200K users.

As an early engineering hire, you'll have the opportunity to work on our core product. You should be passionate about our mission of democratizing access to financial opportunities for the next generation. We provide meaningful ownership of your work through generous equity, and we execute quickly.

Skills: React Native, Typescript,

What would you be doing?

• Architect and build our core React Native product
• Create infrastructure and internal tooling to handle extremely high trade transaction volume
• Help assess and recruit future engineers

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Familiarity with Node, React Native, Nuxt.js, TypeScript, & React,
• Experience with Docker, Storybook, Lerna, and Kubernetes
• Bonus: Interest in consumer fintech, and developer tools
