What you’ll do

You will research and search for candidates that have strong technicals and values fit to join Brex. This involves executing on sourcing strategies, building strong volume pipelines, and providing the best experience for top of funnel candidate engagement. Most importantly, you will partner directly with recruiters and hiring managers across the company to build world class teams that are diverse and inclusive.

Responsibilities

  • Source a balance of high volumes of quality engineering leadership candidates & specialized searches.
  • Ability to set & execute search strategy for engineering leadership roles at the engineering manager and director level & above.
  • Use hiring metrics to develop and define strategy on new and more efficient sourcing solutions.
  • Uphold an a high caliber for positive candidate experience and maintaining a positive impression of Brex through first engagements.
  • Drive team wide hiring sourcing strategies alongside influencing hiring partners.
  • Partner on inbound hiring strategy in addition to managing inbound applications as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering sourcing experience, ideally engineering leadership experience, too.
  • Proven experience using various sourcing techniques to identify and attract top talent - we go beyond just LinkedIn.
  • Strong track record of finding passive candidates to fill open roles and leading a nurture strategy.
  • Experience building strong relationships with cross functional partners (recruiters, coordinators, hiring managers, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to uphold quality in work & partnerships.
  • Ability to operate at a high-speed pace, handle ambiguity, and act with a sense of urgency.

Bonus points

  • Previous engineering leadership recruiting experience.
  • You have a penchant & passion for honing your project/program management craft.
  • Prior startup experience moving a quick pace that requires a high level of intellectual curiosity.
