Finance Executive
About the role
Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Executive who will be responsible for gathering and analyzing day-to-day data in support of business requirements, support budgeting and funding. You will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing financial systems, and providing strategic guidance for effective financial decision-making. Provide business intelligence and reporting that would assist the team in generating the optimal performance. Your role also entails monitoring operational wastages. .
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the collection, analysis, and reporting on historical performance statistics
- Continuously develop and enhance key reporting tools and processes by exploring, identifying, and implementing reporting, analysis, and process solutions
- Support various ad-hoc requests and approach new work with curiosity and creativity
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting principles, and timely reporting.
- Developing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and providing insights to support resource allocation and planning.
- Establishing and maintaining effective internal control processes to safeguard assets, ensure compliance with regulations, and mitigate financial risks.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and presenting findings to management for informed decision-making.
- Creating the new MIS / Management Reporting database for the company
- Developing a culture across the company focused on data visualization and rapid understanding of KPIs, trends and thresholds sense of urgency to address critical risks.
- Monitoring cash flow, optimizing working capital, and implementing strategies to improve liquidity and manage cash effectively.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, overseeing tax planning, and coordinating with external tax advisors for accurate and timely filings.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience
- ACCA, ACMA, CA Finalist (Articles Completed)
- Ability to perform well under tight deadlines
- Self-driven attitude
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Hands on experience in Financial Modelling
- Hands on ERP experience
