Marketing Manager at Canix
About the role
You will spend time weekly evolving us from an early-stage startup into a market-leading brand. Work directly with the CEO to strategize your focus and determine the best ways to develop our marketing effectiveness. The goal of this position is to balance individual contribution work vs. managing contractors and help us build out our marketing team. We have weekly check-ins but pride ourselves on a high degree of autonomy in our day-to-day activities.
Content strategy and development for case studies, blog posts, articles, and social media Website management & redesign (Need help managing our web team) Developing & managing email campaigns Development of webinar series and educational content Conference planning and execution with conference collateral development (booths, swag, handouts, etc) Managing our performance marketing: Channel marketing, SEO, and Ads Product Marketing strategy development: Audience Segmentation and Go to market strategies Key metrics tracking and optimization: CaC, attribution cost, lead generation, lead attribution Unifying our brand appearance: website, internal application, sales materials, marketing materials etc.
- You do not have to be an expert in all of these areas but you must be able to define responsibilities & delegate. Experience and Requirements
5+ years of experience in marketing and brand development Excellent communication skills Metrics-driven Practiced in prioritizing and responding to multiple channels and requests in a timely fashion. Experience in email marketing, social and brand development Exceptional presentation skills. Experience managing teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you can translate complex information so it's accessible to anyone. Comfortable in a fast-paced and low-context environment. Bonus: Experience using HubSpot
