Circle Medical is a Y-Combinator healthcare technology startup on a mission to bring quality, delightful primary care to everyone on the planet. Built by top-tier entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, and physicians, our telemedicine software has pioneered how people find and receive care.

 

Our founding team has decades of experience with successful technology startup exits. We’ve used our most recent round of funding from WELL Health, backed by Sir Li Ka-shing, to scale from California to over fifteen states across the US.

 

We’re now entering the hypergrowth phase, expanding nationwide from over fifteen states to all fifty states in the next six months. And this is only the beginning.

DESCRIPTION 

We are currently looking for a Recruiter to join the People team at Circle Medical Technologies. As we continue to grow, we are constantly searching for exceptional talent to be a part of our team. This position may be based out of our Montreal, Quebec, San Francisco, CA offices or be remote in the U.S. for the right candidate.

As a Recruiter, you will have the autonomy to partner with our hiring managers directly to identify the resources needed to accomplish our business objectives. You will have the opportunity to develop our company’s hiring process by recommending new policies and practices, to ensure smooth sailing for the candidates, as well as the interviewers.

Our ideal Recruiter is comfortable with taking initiative and utilizing existing tools to source and discover new ways to engage candidates. You will work in a transparent and collaborative environment to develop hiring strategies to drive creative approaches for recruiting top talent across the company. At Circle Medical, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company by helping us grow the team with exceptional individuals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meet with managers to discuss needsBuild applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport
  • Develop and implement various recruitment strategies to attract top talent and promote our open positions via different social and professional platforms
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyze responses; verify references; compare qualifications to job requirements.
  • Create strong job descriptions and outreach messages to attract top talent
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Manage offer negotiations, references and background checks
  • Stay informed with talent market updates and share insights with hiring managers, such as salary ranges, new recruitment tools and resources
  • Prepare offer letter and send it to the appropriate candidate
  • Provide positive candidate experience through fast response, follow ups, and constructive feedback whether they were hired or not

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Direct sourcing experience with a demonstrated ability to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for a variety of positions at different levels of the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion to work, network, and connect with people and build genuine professional relationships
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to spearhead closing strategies, build strong candidate relationships to better understand their decision motivators
  • Ability to collaborate with hiring managers to develop innovative methods of recruiting

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE:

  • Previous experience with Lever 
  • Proven track record with other startups or VC funded companies

COMPENSATION

In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location (San Francisco, Montreal, or remote in US), output levels, and options to trade cash for stock.

This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary (cash and stock combined) of $66,000- $100,000 plus, generous vacation, full medical/dental benefits.
