About the role

We're looking for our first growth hire to join us in San Francisco. This is a high-ownership role with a significant impact on the trajectory of Circleback.

Circleback is used by thousands of people every day. We're ready to scale existing motions and come up with new ways to get Circleback in front of people.

You'll be responsible for scaling our growth model across the entire funnel–from bringing awareness to new customers to identifying bottlenecks in activation and retention. That means not only optimizing our most effective acquisition loops and retention triggers, but also building our brand presence and educating the market on how Circleback provides value.

What you'll do

  • Drive top-of-funnel growth by creating compelling content that showcases how different industries and customer types can leverage Circleback
  • Communicate product releases and updates in ways that generate excitement and drive adoption
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product to articulate unique use cases and value propositions for diverse customer segments
  • Dig into product usage and user journeys to uncover where growth is already happening–and how to amplify it
  • Design, spec, and help implement experiments that drive compounding growth
  • Suggest and execute product changes to onboarding, pricing, usage limits, or sharing loops
  • Build awareness campaigns that introduce Circleback to new audiences and markets
  • Optimize existing growth channels and discover new ones
  • Analyze user journeys for traits or events indicative of strong acquisitions, conversion, and retention

Who you are

  • You're a builder–you like figuring things out and thrive in 0 → 1 environments with lots of autonomy
  • You're highly analytical and comfortable with SQL, metrics, and experimentation
  • You love product and have opinions about what makes experiences delightful or frustrating
  • You're comfortable being wrong and learning fast
  • You're curious, fast-moving, and care deeply about helping users get value
  • You have strong writing instincts and know how to communicate ideas simply and clearly
  • You can quickly grasp complex products and translate technical features into compelling customer benefits
  • Have experience running growth experiments in SaaS or product-led companies

Bonus if you…

  • Can sketch out and ship lightweight product or frontend changes
  • Have a design or storytelling muscle and enjoy being (non-chronically) online
  • Have experience creating product-led content that drives awareness and adoption
