iOS Mobile Software Engineer

At Clip Health, we are relentlessly executing on the vision to enable accessible, personalized, and actionable health testing, with immediate follow-up, across infectious, metabolic, endocrine, and chronic diseases and conditions. The Clip Platform brings our proprietary glow-in-the-dark nanochemistry in combination with connected easy-to-use hardware and delightful-to-use mobile apps to at-home, point-of-care, and enterprise settings. We are backed by 10s of millions in funding from Khosla Ventures, Y Combinator, and the National Institutes of Health, have an FDA-authorized COVID-19 rapid test in use around the country, and are in late stage development on two at-home rapid infectious disease tests for launch in the coming months. We are based in Fremont, CA and are approaching 100 employees.

We are looking for a driven iOS mobile developer who has a passion for building applications and products that have a positive social impact. The mobile team designs and deploys beautiful applications that are at the core of our biosciences research platform, manufacturing tools, and medical diagnostics products. The applications we design must meet a wide range of challenging requirements ranging from privacy, security, performance, and usability. You will play a significant role in increasing the availability and efficiency of medical diagnostics that are reliable, secure, performant, and accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven working experience in software development. Working experience in iOS development. A deep familiarity with Objective-C and modern Swift Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Education and Experience:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. Must have 2 years of industry experience and have shipped and maintained an application in the Apple App Store.
