Founding Backend Engineer (Germany)

We are looking for a driven software engineer who quickly learns and thrives in the challenging environment of an early-stage startup. We want you to speak up, build creative solutions to difficult problems, know how to prioritize, and take ownership.

What we are looking for:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields
• 2+ years of professional backend development experience (ideally with Node.js and JS/TS)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and experience designing & maintaining deployment pipelines
• Experience in designing scalable & extensible architectures
• Strong work ethic, team player, very good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Fluency in German and/or English
• A plus: Frontend experience in React.js (Next.js) & willingness to jump on the frontend if needed
• A plus: worked in an (early-stage) start-up before

Our Tech-Stack:

• Backend: REST API, Nestj.js, Prisma ORM, Postrgres DB, Typescript
• Frontend: Next.js, React.js, Typescript
