Marketing Writer [Technical]

CodeCrafters (YC S22) makes programming challenges for experienced software engineers. Besides YC, we're backed by the founders of Instagram and Dropbox. Our customers are experienced engineers at companies like Google, GitHub, Stripe, etc.

We're hiring for a copywriter that will support our engineering team with launching their work.

Key responsibilities:

• Ship blog posts announcing key feature releases
• Help create Twitter and LinkedIn posts
• Help write scripts for content collaborations
• Wordsmith our newsletter

Requirements:

• Excellent written and conversational English skills
• Evidence of prior tasteful writing ability — samples of blog posts, social media posts (Twitter, LinkedIn), long form writing, newsletters, etc.
• You are motivated, creative, scrappy, and enjoy self-directed work
• Strong bonus: Familiarity with programming (of any kind)

1. 20 min introductory call with a member of our people team
2. If there’s a fit, we’ll do a take-home assignment (up to 4hrs total)
3. 60 min call with the CEO re:past experiences
4. 15 min call with the CTO (to prevent bias)
