Our Mission
Community Phone has a straightforward mission: make the phone call more powerful. We have thousands of customers around the country, including children trying to purchase landlines for their elderly parents and businesses choosing modern voice features. Our enterprise clients include KFC, AT&T, GM, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Starbucks. We are customer-centric and believe that happy customers are the best sales force on the planet.
We are a venture-backed, Y-Combinator graduate. In 2021 alone, we grew 20%+ month-over-month and we are on track to triple in 2022. As our revenue and teams have expanded, our product offering has too - with novel voice features available for SMBs for the first time.
As our first designated recruiter, your primary focus will be expanding our team, while retaining quality.
About the Role
We’re looking to add our first exceptional recruiter to our team, working remotely or in Boston. On a day to day basis, you will report into Head of Ops and work closely with our CEO, Head of Sales, and Head of Support on cross-functional expansion. You’re a good fit if you feel excited at the prospect of personally growing our team by ~80% in the next twelve months.

Our Process
Community Phone Company YC W19 built a simple cloud phone system for businesses that don't operate a call center.
Our solution lets a business get all modern voice features (re-route if busy, greeting menu and IVR, programmable caller ID, cloud voicemail, etc) on their existing office phone and existing employee cell phones. All employees onboard instantly, no wifi required, no app to download. Businesses should not be missing out on orders because they can only take one call at a time, and they shouldn't need an IT person in order to get a modern business phone system.
