Our Mission:

Community Phone has a straightforward mission: build a true customer-obsessed phone company. We have thousands of customers around the country, including children trying to purchase landlines for their elderly parents and businesses choosing modern voice features. Our enterprise clients include KFC, AT&T, GM, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Starbucks. We are customer-centric and believe that happy customers are the best sales force on the planet.

We are a venture-backed, Y-Combinator graduate. In 2021 alone, we grew 20%+ month-over-month and we are on track to quadruple in 2022. As our revenue and teams have expanded, our product offering has too - with novel voice features available for SMBs on their existing smart and desk phones. About the Role:

Community Phone is looking for our first exceptional Chief of Staff who will help scale our fast-developing startup by ~300% in the next twelve months. As the Chief of Staff, your mission is to help grow our company by coordinating all areas of strategy, strategy implementation and pitching, sales and hustling. You'll work with the CEO and department heads to support our vision for an impactful telecommunications company that makes a positive impact on the world.

You will help design a process to onboard new hires by first designing and managing a recruitment pipeline, filling key roles on our team that help us scale and hire extraordinary people, and ultimately hiring specialists backfill for ourselves over time.

The Chief of Staff role is a critical role and unique opportunity for someone who is interested in shaping the path of a promising startup. You will be a force-multiplier for and thought partner to the company, having significant impact on the business from both a strategic and operational perspective.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, manage, and grow the entire recruiting pipeline end-to-end.
  • Develop and maintain a strategy for hiring stellar internationally-distributed talent who will advance the company’s mission and values
  • Source executive candidates Source sales and support rep talent to aid our department headsSource ops, product, and engineering talent
  • Deliver on our hiring goals through the end of 2022 and participating in designing the hiring calendar for 2023
  • Developed strategic initiatives, improving operational and business processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness for each department including Executive Management
  • Analyzing opportunities, conducting research, developing go-forward plans and recommendations for recruitment operations.
  • Continuously guiding the company towards scalable growth
