Risk API for Fintechs that Underwrite SMBs
We are looking to hire a Bay Area based Founding Engineer with full stack experience (more emphasis on backend) to be part of our first non-founding member of the team. We need someone who is humble, has a founder mindset to get things done, and be part of an early-stage startup. Someone who likes to found their company one day in the future. Prior experience in seed/early stage startups is highly preferred
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Coris' interview process. At Coris, we are looking for a Founding Engineer that will join us in our mission to help Fintechs and Vertical SaaS companies to serve SMBs effectively. We are looking for someone who is humble, have a learning mindset, iterates & ships quickly, and exhibits a strong sense of ownership and autonomy. We are at a stage where we define and drive our own roadmap, and use their product sense to define and ship our MVP. We are currently piloting with a few design partners, who are eager to gain value from our software and are highly engaged to provide valuable feedback.
Our interview process is designed to find these kinds of engineers. Moreover, we try to ask questions that are relevant to the types of products we build -- mostly backend work focused on web scraping, file processing, and databases.
Coris is a Risk API for Fintechs and Vertical SaaS companies that underwrite SMBs. Our vision is to build a modern risk infrastructure for Fintechs and SaaS companies to enable seamless financial products for SMBs. Founders built the risk systems at companies such as eBay, PayPal, WePay, and Google.
We are currently working with companies such as Wave Accounting and Parker to help them manage the risk of their small business customers and predict defaults before they happen. We started only in June-2022, but already have working products that are piloted by companies.
We are well funded and backed by the likes of Y Combinator, Lux Capital, Exponent Founders Capital, and the CXOs/Founders of innovative companies such as Mercury, WePay, Gusto and Intuit.
