About Us

CrowdVolt is a social platform built to exchange live events tickets, starting with raves & EDM shows. Our team (consisting of avid EDM fans and a well-known DJ) is dedicated to providing consumers the best possible experience for buying and selling tickets to events. We have grown rapidly since our launch in New York, and soon plan to expand to other geographic markets. We recently raised a $1.4 million seed round from top-tier investors.

Job Description

As a Founding (Full-Stack) Engineer (and one of the first employees), you will be a critical part of our early-stage team, working directly with the founding team to build a great product and engineer solutions to incredibly difficult problems. This role requires a hands-on, versatile engineer who is excited about the opportunity to wear multiple hats and drive significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy features across CrowdVolt’s product

• Make crucial foundational decisions regarding the product design and architecture

• Own and develop features across entire product vertical

• Interacting and supporting our existing users, and shaping product to build new features for them

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Python, React, and Postgres/SQL

• Have created a personal project exemplifying proficiency and excellence within our technology stack

• Proven experience in web scraping

• Passionate about software development, with ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Stripe API, Kubernetes, and NextJS
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD tools
