About the role

The backbone of Latin America’s economy consists of SME’s which do not have access to proper financial services and lack the expertise to effectively manage their operations. We are trying to fix this problem. is an early-stage startup whose goal is to create the first digital bank for business, that effectively manages transactions to records as automated as possible. We are to become the go-to platform for operational viability and financial expertise. is backed by reputational VC’s that include Y Combinator, Foundation Capital, Soma Capital, Plug and Play Ventures, Venture Souq, and founders of other YC-backed companies.

As we prepare to grow and further develop our product, we are seeking a passionate individual to fill the position of People Operations Manager. We are looking for a talented individual who has the ability to empower others and act as a facilitator in the workplace. The People Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO. This is a full-time position only.


Lead the hiring process to ensure that the right pipeline of candidates is reached and aligns to’s values and work ethic.

Establish effective processes for recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding for the team to have a well-defined strategy. Additionally, you should be able to establish performance metrics and feedback strategies.

Incorporate company-wide initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention. These could be capacitation modules, leadership courses, or team-building activities.

Keep track of HR metrics such as employee turnover, time to hire in a particular position, cost per hire, benefits participation rate, and initiative participation rate.

Act as culture keeper for New team members must understand the culture and work ethic that is characteristic of and have a clear understanding of our values and vision.

Collaborate with managers to define tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.

Stay updated on new HR methods and technologies. The People Operations Manager should also seek to implement the most effective methods to improve and build a great culture.

Act as a facilitator regarding the work environment. The People Operations Manager should understand the issues affecting the work discipline or processes of the organization and deal with them in a timely and effective manner.

  • 2+ years of experience in People Operations roles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be empathetic
  • Experience managing and leading people
  • Strong work ethic to lead initiatives from creation to completion
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills
  • Constant reflection of company values and be able to share them with the organization
  • Powerful Relationship management skills

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in startups
  • Previous experience setting up the People Operations department and team
  • Knowledge of several HR software services
  • A clear understanding of the payroll system in Mexico
