Discz is an app for Gen Z to connect around music and culture, but with the expression and playfulness of the myspace and mixtape era. We provide a digital world where you can find your communities and build fully customizable spaces to show off your interests.

Job Description

We’re looking for someone who is excited in working in the social space, helping craft our story of how Discz is connecting Gen Z around music and culture.

The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to build on our social strategy, applying their creativity to expanding our efforts. We’re a culture that thrives on creativity and looking for that perfect person who can test and iterate on their strategy as we build out our brand.


  • Drive strategic vision for social channels, crafting our visual identity and monthly social calendar.
  • Vetting and partnering with creative vendors to develop social assets.
  • Aligning with internal partners to align on brand identity, storytelling, and approach.
  • Managing execution and implementation of all social assets.
  • Creating copy / messaging for all in-market channels.
  • Setting up, managing, and executing paid campaigns.
  • Managing PR and Comms Strategy to drive awareness, hype, and buzz.
  • Creating and maintaining a cultural calendar to guide product and marketing activations.
  • Supporting founder led marketing activations.

Ideal Requirements

  • 3+ years managing social channels.
  • 3+ years in running digital ad campaigns.
  • Has proven success in driving engagement on TikTok.
  • Can drive earned media and has experience navigating press strategy.
  • Is able to think holistically and can influence others to buy into your strategy.

We built Discz in response to a frustration with industry gatekeepers and available algorithmic offerings like Spotify Radio, which make music discovery passive and boring. We’re democratizing music discovery and empowering fans, curators and artists to connect through songs.
