About the role

Easol is the leading all-in-one ‘experience commerce’ platform built to power experience businesses including festivals, wellness retreats, food and drink, sports and adventure trips. With Easol, experience businesses have complete control to drive more direct sales, retain more revenue, own their data and run their business on their terms.

Easol has deep roots in experiences, the platform was founded by former festival founders, Lisa and Ben Simpson in 2017, after the husband and wife team endured challenges and frustrations first-hand while setting up and growing their own experience business including Rise - Europe’s biggest snowsports and music festival and Beyond Adventures - a series of adventure travel experiences in remote locations such as the Sahara desert and the Swedish Archipelago.


As the Head of Sales at Easol, you will leverage your sales leadership expertise to galvanise our sales function.

You will be personally invested in the growth of our high-performing sales team and you will help to propel them to new heights of success.

You will develop and execute a long-term sales strategy that represents our vision, and uniquely positions Easol as the go-to software provider for the experience economy.

You will advance the sales function operationally, by implementing playbooks, tools and processes that keep us a step ahead of the competition.

This role requires a proven Sales Leader who has worked in a fast-paced environment before, and who knows how to grow and motivate a sales team in a scale-up environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating and embedding the long-term sales strategy
  • Contribute to weekly senior leadership meetings adding context from sales to help shape strategic decisions
  • Leading the day-to-day operations, being hands-on in providing guidance, removing blockers and finding solutions
  • Collaborate closely with VP of Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition between Sales and Success
  • Facilitating the team’s personal and professional growth, recognising individual strengths/weaknesses and supporting them to reach their potential
  • Tracking opportunities in the experiences economy and identifying key verticals with serious potential to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborating across the business to position the Easol platform optimally to customer needs
  • Recruiting, onboarding and developing top-tier sales talent
  • Being highly visible to customers and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Attend relevant industry events to drive brand awareness

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams within an early-stage SaaS startup, and implementing a successful sales process
  • Demonstrable track record of overachieving targets as an individual contributor handling complex sales processes
  • Ability to understand, articulate and translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to identify, coach and develop high-potential sales talent
  • Experience in selling related products such as e-commerce, event ticketing or events marketing would be ideal, but non-mandatory

About the interview

Our interview process has four stages.

Discovery Interview with Recruitment Team - this is an exploratory conversation from both sides where we will discuss Easol, who we are and what we are looking for and will learn more about the applicant, both from an experience perspective, and also from a culture matching perspective. We are a growth mindset company and want to hire people who are too!

Interview with CEO - this is a more specific interview around the day to day role and responsibilities, your goals and ambitions and Easol fit.

Task Based Interview with 2-3 members of the team - you will be presented with two tasks, a role play which you'll prepare and deliver in the interview, and a scenario based task which you will create and submit the presentation.

Final Interview with CEO - this final stage is an opportunity for you to meet Ben our CEO and to ask any final questions that you have.
