About Fella Health

Fella Health helps middle-aged men live 10 years longer.

We are the telemedicine clinic for bigger guys, worldwide. We use medical weight loss treatment to solve our fellas' most pressing healthcare need, then remain a fella's core healthcare provider for the rest of their life - focused on men's health, longevity, mental health, and primary care.

We will have served 1 million fellas by the end of 2026, and 10 million fellas by the end of 2028.

Our mission is to solve male obesity worldwide, by accelerating the take-up of GLP-1s in middle-aged men. From this, we’ll become the world’s leading men’s health brand.

We’ve grown >130x since Sept 2022 (currently growing >30% MoM) and are strongly cashflow positive. We have expanded our state coverage to >95% of US population, have started to expand our clinical protocol beyond weight (e.g. testosterone), and are eyeing up international expansion.

We're still a young startup and are moving quickly. We have a long way to go. This is still Day 1.

The opportunity as Affiliate Lead

Fella Health is building a world-class team.

As the Affiliate Lead at Fella Health, you'll work closely with our Head of Growth and CEO to develop and execute a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy that expands our reach, drives customer acquisition, and increases revenue through strategic partnerships with high-quality affiliate advertisers.

You'll start by auditing our current affiliate program, identifying opportunities to improve partner recruitment, commission structures, and promotional resources. You'll take ownership of identifying and onboarding new affiliate partners whose audiences align with our target demographics, ensuring that they are well-equipped to effectively promote Fella Health to their followers.

In addition to recruiting new partners, you'll focus on nurturing and maintaining strong relationships with existing affiliates, providing them with ongoing support, performance insights, and optimization recommendations to maximize their success in promoting Fella Health.

As the program grows, you'll continuously analyze performance data and affiliate feedback to optimize our commission structures, promotional materials, and partner support resources, ensuring that our affiliate program remains competitive and attractive to top-tier advertisers.

You'll work closely with our creative, product, and customer service teams to ensure that our affiliates have access to compelling content, up-to-date product information, and timely customer support, enabling them to effectively represent Fella Health to their audiences.

This is a full-time remote role.

You'll report directly to our Head of Growth (Dave Lane), as well as work closely with our CEO (Richie Cartwright).

Key Responsibilities

Straight away

Audit and optimize affiliate program :

  1. Assess: Conduct a comprehensive audit of our current affiliate program, including partner performance, commission structures, and promotional materials. Identify areas for improvement and quick wins.
  2. Strategize: Develop a data-driven affiliate marketing strategy that aligns with our target audience, product offerings, and business objectives. Set clear KPIs and reporting cadence.
  3. Execute: Take ownership of recruiting high-quality affiliate partners, creating attractive commission structures, and providing comprehensive support materials. Establish a streamlined onboarding process and monitor partner performance.

Identify and recruit top-tier affiliate partners - Research and reach out to potential affiliate partners whose audiences align with our target demographics. Develop compelling partnership proposals and nurture relationships to secure long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations.

Collaborate with internal teams - Work closely with our creative, product, and customer service teams to ensure affiliates have access to up-to-date content, product information, and support resources. Provide insights and feedback to optimize the affiliate experience and maximize performance.

In the near future

Expand and test new affiliate partnerships - Continuously explore new affiliate partnership opportunities, including niche influencers, content creators, and industry thought leaders. Test new promotional strategies and commission structures to maximize affiliate engagement and performance.

Develop affiliate marketing resources - Create a comprehensive library of affiliate marketing resources, including product guides, promotional templates, and performance benchmarks. Provide ongoing training and support to help affiliates optimize their promotion strategies and drive better results.

Implement affiliate tracking and reporting - Work with our technical team to implement robust affiliate tracking and reporting systems. Provide regular performance reports and insights to affiliates and internal stakeholders, using data to inform program optimizations and strategic decisions.

Foster a thriving affiliate community - Build and nurture a sense of community among our affiliate partners, facilitating knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mutual support. Host regular events, webinars, and workshops to keep affiliates engaged and informed about the latest industry trends and best practices.

Need to have

  • Affiliate marketing expertise : 5+ years of experience in managing and growing successful affiliate marketing programs, with a deep understanding of industry best practices and trends.
  • Relationship building : Exceptional ability to build and nurture strong relationships with affiliate partners, fostering trust, collaboration, and long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiation and deal-making : Skilled negotiator, able to structure win-win partnerships and agreements that align with business objectives and partner needs.
  • Data-driven mindset : Proficient in analyzing affiliate program metrics, identifying trends, and deriving actionable insights to continually optimize performance and drive ROI.
  • Cross-functional collaboration : Effective at working with multiple teams, including creative, product, and customer service, to ensure affiliates have the resources and support needed to succeed.

Nice to have

  • Affiliate network experience : Familiarity with major affiliate networks and platforms, such as Commission Junction, ShareASale, and Clickbank.
  • Influencer marketing experience : Background in partnering with influencers and content creators, leveraging their reach and credibility to drive affiliate sales.
  • Industry connections : Established network of relationships with top affiliate marketers, publishers, and thought leaders in the health and wellness space.
  • Strategic mindset : Ability to develop and execute a long-term affiliate marketing strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and target audience preferences.

About Fella Health

Fella Health is the telemedicine clinic for men with obesity, backed by Y Combinator. With Fella, patients meet an obesity specialist to prescribe FDA-approved medications, while they undertake personalized health coaching through our app.

Obesity is the largest chronic disease in the US (>$100bn spent each year) and the traditional solution ("move more, eat less") only works long-term for ~10% of people. But obesity treatment is radically changing due to a new wave of medication options which are 3x more effective than previous options. In addition, only 10% of those using weight management services are men: all programs market to women, not tackling the stigma men feel around this.

After studying at Cambridge University, he built and sold an AI company working with the UK government. He built a 10k-follower Instagram community around men's binge eating.
