About The Role

We are looking for a Head of Talent who is excited to be part of our early story! You will be responsible for creating a roadmap and driving Finch’s talent strategy, implementing recruiting initiatives, policies, and practices that will attract diverse and high-performing talent to the organization. You will collaborate with the cofounders and hiring managers to set up and optimize our recruiting flows and apply best practices across the company. As an early employee, you'll be working with a nimble team committed to shaping Finch's organization and culture.

What You Will Do

  • Use data to drive strategic Talent Acquisitions initiatives and best practices that attract top talent in the US and Canada
  • Assess, revamp and optimize existing processes, tools, systems, and resources needed to scale and support the recruiting team 
  • Run searches across engineering, product, and sales accommodating for a broad set of technical skills
  • Track recruitment progress towards company objectives and support the general recruitment strategy in liaison with the leadership team
  • Present relevant metrics to senior stakeholders ensuring everyone is abreast of activity and output as well as emerging opportunities or challenges
  • Develop and execute employer branding strategies

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience leading a recruiting team
  • 7+ years of high-volume experience recruiting for a variety of roles with a strong focus on engineering and sales  
  • Experience managing agency partnerships and recruiting tools such as Lever and Gem
  • Experience recruiting engineers with modern tech stacks (Node.js, Python, Elixir, AWS, Go, etc.)
  • Strong experience in designing recruitment strategies and processes supporting diversity and inclusion efforts
