Flo Recruit is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our rapidly growing startup based in Austin, Texas
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with internal teams to help identify application feature requirements and clarity testing needs Test and report bugs/feature discrepancies Write and update test cases Run regression and smoke testing during releases Automate test scripts Work in a collaborative environment Troubleshoot and prioritize bugs with the support of the customer success team Participate in scrum ceremonies (sprint grooming, sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-up, retrospective) Identify, clearly document, evaluate the severity of, and communicate defects Identify and work to resolve inefficiencies in process and help towards contributing towards a more successful team Work with Product to resolve inefficiencies within the product What You Should Have 3+ years of experience with software quality assurance Experience in all phases of Software Development and the Testing life cycle Knowledge of QA cycles and how to release applications Experience with at least one automation framework Passion for quality and strong attention to detail in all facets of work Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Highly collaborative and effective communicator Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, Selenium, Cypress, or similar Benefits Market-competitive compensation package consisting of base salary and participation in employee stock option pool Full offering of healthcare benefits, including vision and dental; cost partially subsidized by Flo Generous PTO and Sick Leave policy Parental leave policy Flexible office policy with free parking and IT equipment budget Please Note As of January 2022, we have an East Austin office available to those who prefer to work in person.
