About Us:

Forage is a mission-driven payments company helping merchants accept EBT/SNAP payments online and enabling 42 million Americans to spend their food benefits on the internet. 1 in 8 Americans rely on SNAP assistance, and less than 0.05% of grocers currently accept EBT online. 

In August of 2022 Forage received Series A funding of $22 million. We are a remote first company with hybrid options in New York and San Francisco hiring across North America.

What we're looking for

• Love building great products and engineering systems

• Can articulate your thoughts well

• Can articulate and balance implementation tradeoffs

• Are productive, resourceful, and an effective problem solver

• Write high quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices in engineering

• Exhibit a strong understanding of CS fundamentals from your Bachelor's in CS, engineering, related discipline, or equivalent industry experience

• Work effectively in a remote setting and are able to overlap at least 4 hours per work day at 9am to 5pm PST

Our offer

As of 5/18/23, if we hire you in San Francisco, your base salary would fall within the bands below. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
