Forage is a mission-driven payments company helping merchants accept EBT/SNAP payments online and enabling 42 million Americans to spend their food benefits on the internet. 1 in 8 Americans rely on SNAP assistance, and less than 0.05% of grocers currently accept EBT online.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to explore and build new verticals at Forage. This is a critical role where you would drive product strategy and execution in a highly complex and regulated space. 

At Forage, you’ll have the opportunity to

• Own product strategy from ideation to launch and beyond

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to understand opportunity and competitive landscape

• Work with payments and government industry leaders to assess potential licensing and partnerships

• Lead product strategy and get buy-in from internal and external stakeholders

• Define the product roadmap and prioritize what we need to build now versus later

• Write and refine thorough technical product requirements

• Build pilots for early-stage products with long-term platform thinking

• Work closely with merchants, operations, and marketing to launch

• Define and measure metrics, incorporate learnings into future product development

Preferred qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading product from discovery to launch

• Familiarity with financial products

• Experience building new product verticals into business lines

• Ability to see the big picture to form long-term product strategy

• Ability to create and develop external partnerships

• Track record of executing large-scale launches that grow

Our Offer

As of 12/19/22, if we hire you in San Francisco, your base salary would fall within the bands below. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
