We are looking for an internet-obsessed social content creator to join the Gainful team. This is a chance to join a fast-growing brand and add a ton of value by bringing our brand to life across our TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. This is a New York City based role and we’re looking for somebody who will be in the office 3+ times a week creating video content, partnering with our creative contributors and bringing energy and excitement to both our company culture and our social media.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of work experience and is extremely confident creating and managing social content and building engagement and community on social platforms. While you’ll have some creative resources to leverage and people to partner with, you will be the main driver of content for our primary social channels. We are looking for somebody who is super excited about the prospect of spending their day coming up with engaging, organic content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and who believes they can bring freshness, creativity and expertise to our platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Developing new ideas and creating content for Gainful’s TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
• Monitoring and engaging with consumer conversations, trends, mentions and comments.
• Partnering with our PR, Influencer & Design leads on collaborative content.
• Integrating social into our company culture and sharing our company culture on social.
• Identifying and sharing relevant social trends, opportunities and content within the company.
• Pitch creative ideas around how to best leverage social to tell our brand story.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years relevant work experience.
• A passion for social media and pop culture.
• Obsessed with knowing what’s new - you’re the first of your friends on every trend and meme.
• Always caught up on the latest innovation in social media channels, features, capabilities.
• A love of writing and ability to make social copy attention grabbing, authentic and effective.
• An interest in visual storytelling, design and content creation and an ability to showcase those abilities through either a portfolio of work or a social content assignment.
• Interest in, and comfort, being on-camera and representing the Gainful brand.

• A desire to be actively on-location or out and about in the city, creating content real-time.
• A “people person” who is energized by meeting new people and trying new things.
