About Gordian Software

We are building the operating system for the airline industry - a platform that connects all participants and integrates the information and complexity of hundreds of systems that go into delivering air travel.

In 2017, we launched with this mission and started on an unsolved problem: empower travel sites to upsell seat selection, baggage and other upgrades.  Through a simple and unique API and widget, we’ve signed huge customers like Priceline, Hopper and Trip.com and work with industry leaders.  We have annualized revenue of over $7m and grown 5x from to 2019, despite headwinds from one of the worst modern travel environments.

Our traction speaks for itself and we’re growing rapidly to expand our offerings.  Our work has earned us backing from investors like Y Combinator, Localglobe and the founders of Skyscanner and Plaid.

We come from a diverse range of industries and backgrounds and we are united by our culture. It is our most important asset.  We have a strong sense for who we are: we are fast movers and operate with freedom, impact and ownership.  Learn more here.

Join our team to create the future of air travel.

About the role

Technical Project Managers (TPM) lead Gordian’s content integration teams. These teams connect with airline and 3rd party APIs and integrate them into the Gordian platform so we can distribute that content to our travel website customers.

Content is the core of Gordian’s business. On any given day, you’ll be prioritizing projects with the sales team, managing active products in the development team, calling suppliers to ensure smooth integration or crunching numbers to understand where our content is performing well or poorly.  You’ll also be a key point of contact for our travel agency customers, as we help them expand their offerings.

Examples of recent projects:

  • Identify and manage 20 airlines baggage delivery products for a key customer
  • Research, prioritize and deliver new potential upsell products
  • Deep dive on specific key airline integration to ensure our sales are recognized by the airline and attributed to Gordian

You’ll be responsible for the products that Gordian displays to more than 1,000,000 customers every day and have a high degree of freedom in crafting the strategy we use to expand the number and quality of products we offer.

Role Requirements:

  • 2+ years of software engineering OR technical project management experience
  • Proficiency in quickly familiarizing oneself with complex codebases
  • Proven ability to manage high complexity projects
  • Proven ability to manage high complexity projects
  • Motivated by a fast paced, high impact environment
  • Proactive and comfortable operating amidst ambiguity
  • Clear communicator with a bias to collaborate
  • High alignment with our values of Freedom, Impact and Ownership
