
App for independent agents to sell financial products in India
The Strategic Alliances & Partnerships Manager at GroMo will be responsible for independently managing the onboarding and growth of partners, including Banks, NBFCs, Fintechs, B2C, B2B2C platforms, and more. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, relationship management, and execution excellence. The candidate will focus on building and scaling partnerships through technology-driven solutions, and operational efficiency. This role will require a good amount of travel.
• Identify, engage, and onboard new Banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, B2C, and B2B2C platforms.
• Leverage strong industry networks to initiate partnership discussions and deliver impactful sales pitches.
• Negotiate and finalize legal agreements and commercial terms with lending institutions in collaboration with internal teams.
• Define and implement partnership models, structures, and pricing frameworks.
• Drive seamless, tech-enabled onboarding and integration of partners.
• Develop business cases, financial scenarios, and growth strategies.
• Prepare financial models, information memorandums, and presentations.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Product & Technology teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations for smooth execution.
• Act as the primary contact for all partners, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Drive scale-up of volumes and business initiatives with existing partners.
• Proactively address escalations, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with GroMo’s product strategy.
• Conduct regular business reviews with internal leadership and external partners.
• Travel as required to build and nurture strategic alliances.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Alliances / Strategic Partnerships / Business Development with Banks, NBFCs, or Fintechs.
• In-depth knowledge of RBI, SEBI regulations, financial compliance, and lending ecosystem.
• Strong network in the BFSI domain
• Proven track record of managing senior-level client relationships.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
