HER is the world’s largest community for queer women, non-binary, trans and gnc folks. Our mission is to connect every queer person on the planet, to empower our community with visibility and scale. We’re a remote team that’s looking for smart and driven people who care deeply about the LGBTQ+ community to help us grow and scale HER to millions more queer folks across the world.
THE ROLE
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial operations leader who is deeply passionate about the LGBTQ+ community. You’ll be leading a diverse range of business operations, so we’re looking to speak with people that are used to wearing many hats and driven by outcomes; from people to process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ownership of People, Finance, HR and Operations
Create and execute our people operations strategy with measurable goals to drive scalable systems, practices, policies, processes, employee engagement and retention
Creation of all hiring plans, budgets and guidelines for a global, remote team
Successful implementation of hiring plans across all departments that fill open positions in a timely manner
Build program(s) around culture, inclusion and team engagement with reporting
Participate in developing and communicating OKRs across the business
Create and deliver financial plans and ensure financial reporting and forecasting done on a timely and accurate basis.
Manage all finance and vendor relationships
Develop and execute a strategy to optimize day-to-day operations at HER
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of relevant work experience in a strategy, operations, and/or people roles
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
Experience and desire to be a People and Culture leader across the company
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their operational implications
Ability to shift from high-level strategic thinking to stepping in and helping to drive implementation alongside functional teams
