Summary

HeyCharge is a VC-based, early-stage startup based in Munich, Germany just entering the scale-up phase. We need a self-starting finance and operations guru who will catapult HeyCharge to the next level by bringing the needed finance, accounting, and operations skills to bear in this fast-moving, fun-but-chaotic environment. This is an ultra-high impact role with a real chance to leave a significant footprint in the company. Help us build Germany's next unicorn!

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence by implementing scalable, predictable, and repeatable processes for accounting, expenses, reporting, and HR.
• Finance, including accounts payable/receivable, cashflow and liquidity management, P&L statements, set-up and operation of ERP system, and more.
• Drive our manufacturing processes, supplier contracts, and import/export processes.
• A "spearhead" HR function, ensuring that everyone is happy, healthy, and paid.
• Planning and executing marketing and PR campaigns, trade show appearances, etc.
• Management of company facilities, including a new and growing office in central Munich.
• Effectively, anything else necessary to keep the wheels on our fast-growing company!

Qualifications

• Musts
  • Finance experience at a tech company, or at a startup or scale-up.
  • Understand German + US accounting practices, e.g. GAP and HGB.
  • Experience with operational/finance software stacks for used by growing companies.
  • Have managed external Steuerberater/accounting/bookkeeping firms.
  • Excellent English and German written and spoken skills.

  • Experience with franchise business models.
  • Supply chain and manufacturing management.
  • Experience with multinational corporate structures
  • Domain experience in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure space.
  • Experience with hybrid (local + remote) teams.
