About the role

As the founding Back-End developer, you’ll work closely with the founders to deliver high-impact features that excite our customers.

On any given day you’ll

• Create smooth, stable, and elegant Go or Python APIs and subsystems in a service oriented analytics platform
• Own features and designs from inception to implementation and launch
• Discover new tools and patterns to include in Hyperglue’s tech stack to wow our customers
• Build and improve tooling to support product development at Hyperglue for your peers and future colleagues

About you

• 5+ years of professional Software Development experience
• 3+ years of web developer experience
• Fluency in GoLang or Python and willingness to learn both
• Understanding of functional and object oriented programming paradigms
• Great system design intuition and developer empathy
• Experience leading other engineers, mentoring colleagues, and driving technical projects.

Bonus points:

• Hands on experience with identifying and driving technical changes across teams or organizations.
• 2+ years of experience supporting data science teams and deploying models or building large scale analytics systems
• Hands on experience with Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and Redis
