[Delphia](https://delphia.com/) is building a new kind of asset manager that rethinks the value of data and how it can be used to gain an edge in forecasting markets. We believe that actively managing people’s data can unlock new forms of wealth creation for individual and institutional investors alike. To create the next [Millennium](https://www.mlp.com/) (and eventually, [Blackstone](https://www.blackstone.com/)), you need each of the following; 1. A captivating reason for people to connect their data ([in beta](https://abr.ge/k4xqep)) 2. A way to automate data extraction from aggregators ([acquired](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/delphia-strengthens-data-rights-with-acquisition-of-fathom-privacy-301696745.html)) 3. A cooperative way to ensure "fair trade" compensation for data ([built](https://www.supersetdao.com/)) 4. A way to reward data contributors transparently and irreversibly ([on pause](https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/09/28/algorithmic-stock-platform-delphia-debuts-digital-asset-component/)) 5. A way to discover investment managers with uncorrelated alpha ([open sourced](https://github.com/charliereese/investos)) 6. A way to help investment managers make use of our data advantage ([partnered](https://covariance.ai/)) 7. A way to access to stock order flow that has net benefit to retail investors (coming soon) 8. Capacity rights in investment strategies whose returns improve with data ([first of many](http://www.oraclealpha.com/)), and 9. A secure training environment for third-party ML models (the goal of our next venture round) If our thesis bears out, the $7 billion alternative data industry ([$135 billion by 2030](https://explodingtopics.com/blog/alternative-data-market)) may be in for a Cambrian explosion that has yet to be priced in. Being able to acquire ground truth cost-effectively using first-party data, and thus being able to forecast fundamentals more accurately, is the key to attracting the world's best investment ideas to a platform. People at Delphia are socially-minded creatives at heart. Our teams are continually researching, iterating, and solving hard problems in order to generate new forms of economic returns. Our multi-disciplinary team was founded in 2018 and is a graduate of [Y Combinator](https://ycombinator.com/) and the [Creative Destruction Lab](https://creativedestructionlab.com/). • Recurrency

Recurrency is reversing enterprise resource planning (ERP) stagnation by building the industry-standard ERP automation platform: blazingly fast and complete with powerful automation tools like intelligent sales recommendations, dynamic pricing, and demand forecasting. Despite distribution being a multi-trillion dollar industry, the legacy ERP systems that exist to help businesses manage their purchasing, inventory, sales, order processing, and accounting are decades behind. For the most part, ERP systems are painfully slow, difficult to use, and soul-crushingly manual. Using Recurrency can boost a distributor’s revenue and profit margins, while reducing waste and saving time. Most importantly, Recurrency is fully integrated with the customer’s legacy system, so deploying Recurrency in production can be done in as little as one day.

Spark is an AI-powered planning and workflow tool for large-scale clean energy developers that lets them break ground faster. With Spark, developers can search across thousands of PDFs, maps, and websites to identify requirements and screen locations in seconds, not weeks. Julia and Tae were previously engineering and product managers at Brex, Tesla, and Apple. They grew up within 10 minutes of each other in Brazil but met in the US through a shared passion for software and infrastructure for society. Julia was one of the youngest engineering managers at Brex, having joined as an early engineer in 2019. Within months of breaking into the energy industry, she built tools (like SolarGPT used by hundreds of developers) and wrote articles about project finance, tax credits, and use cases for LLMs that went viral with industry leaders. Tae was the PM leading the buildout and deployment of Tesla's warehouse system. The systems he worked on managed $xxM in daily inventory and serviced a factory that built 7k cars per week. He was also a founding engineer on Lucid’s commerce team, building Lucid's payment platform from scratch — which pioneered online vehicle sales for the $7B company by processing millions of dollars in vehicle sales per month.

We help developers implement human-like voice agents in a day instead of months. Plug in your LLM, a voice agent is born! From AI-powered call agents to voice-enabled coaching apps and lifelike companions, we are your trusted ally in turning these visions into reality. Although Voice AI has been around for some time, it hasn't yet become effective enough for mainstream use, primarily because of poor user experience. Conversational flows often feel awkward with unnatural pauses and interruptions, requests are frequently misunderstood, and voices sound robotic or overly dramatic. On top of that, setting up such a Voice AI system can require upwards of 100 hours of frustrating development. By offering a truly conversational, fast, and empathetic Voice AI that can be easily configured for any industry and integrated into any product, we aim to push the boundary of user-friendliness to a new level, reaching the threshold for mainstream adoption of Voice AI. We are at a pivotal moment in history where Voice AI will become the primary interface for accessing products and services, revolutionizing our interactions with machines for the better. Retell AI is at the forefront of creating this new reality.

Fluently offers a more efficient and convenient way to boost speaking skills by providing feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary after each call and fine-tuning the learning trajectory over time. That became possible by recent advancements in ML and the power of M1 chips for local processing. • Lumona
    Lumona (w2024)Active • 3 employees • 1525 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
Lumona is a product search engine that brings you high-quality recommendations from the creators you trust. Instead of wading through pages of clickbait Google results or adding ‘reddit’ to your search, we give you the products you’d otherwise spend hours researching for. As search engines have developed alongside the internet, it’s become increasingly obvious that searching the whole internet is now a bug, not a feature. The vast amount of information that assaults you throughout your day, from social media to election news, makes filtering through that noise a daily struggle. In particular, this has impacted online shopping, where you’re now inundated with the latest dropshipping trends whenever you want to catch up on what your friends did over the weekend. Knowing which products are legitimate and what to look for in the ocean of products online has never been more important. If you want to start a skincare routine that will work for you, you have to spend hours looking through Reddit threads and watching YouTube videos to learn what a good skincare routine looks like, and that’s before you even start deciding which products to buy. We simplify that entire process so you can get the best products as recommended by the content creators you watch and communities that you visit every day in one place. We met in our sophomore year at MIT and began working together the next year when we were on the staff of Web Lab, a student-run web development class with an average of 300 students. We competed in HackMIT, MIT’s undergraduate hackathon as a team for 2 years, where we won the competition last September. Growing up in the age of social media, we’ve always prioritized the opinions of content creators that we follow in the products we buy, and we often spend much more time researching the products and how to buy them instead of buying the product we need. We’re committed to making sure that you save time while never needing to add ‘reddit’ to the end of any of your searches again.

SID (s2023)Active • 4 employees • San Francisco, CA, USA
We make it easy for developers to connect customer data to their LLM apps. Instead of spending months on integrations and retrieval pipelines, Reworkd's AgentGPT added our button in an afternoon and let thousands of people connect their Notion, email and Drive instantly. Every single AI company is building data retrieval. Currently, they're doing this from scratch – we don't think they should have to. Just like OpenAI made working with LLMs as simple as an API call, SID makes it easy for every AI company to access data the same way.
