About the role
Kenota is poised to disrupt the allergy diagnostic market with the introduction of a point- of-care testing system that dramatically enhances the speed, convenience and accuracy of allergy testing. Kenota is currently seeking a driven, talented and meticulous Project Manager to join our growing team and report to the CTO. By joining Kenota, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers and business people in a dynamic environment. You will be supported by talented technical leads who will work with you to accomplish our shared goals. You must enjoy learning and be able to wrap your head around complex concepts, presenting them in a simple and accurate way. You will be working with R&D leaders to not only manage project delivery, but also assist in coaching teams to a more agile delivery process. This is a hands-on Project Manager role.
Responsibilities and Duties: ● Planning, organizing, prioritizing, coordinating and evaluating tasks to create project schedules and plans ● Setting realistic timelines ● Monitoring project schedules and timelines, and being accountable for timely completion of objectives and key milestones ● Communicating, facilitating, and leading to effectively coordinate multi-disciplinary teams ● Conducting project meetings and preparing update presentations ● Recommending team structure and participating as an effective team member ● Identifying, mitigating and managing project risks
Requirements/Skills: ● Exceptional project management skills: 5+ years experience in planning and project management (preferably a PMP designation) ● Knowledge of communications processes and behaviour-change theory ● Leadership skills in motivation, development, team building and coaching ● Understanding critical chain project management ● Include demonstrated examples of each skill in your cover letter as well as your favourite midday snack ● Knowledgeable of Medical device development including 510(k) submission, DHF & DMR creation is an asset ● Understand the working of ISO 14971 risk analysis is an asset ● Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office and Asana ● Strong demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality and judgment ● Presentational skills geared to audience i.e. Senior Management, Directors and staff ● Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive cross-department relationships to attain collaborative solutions ● Demonstrated ability to be flexible and exercise judgement in a fast-paced environment
