Who are we and What we do

Join us on the mission to build AI that saves humanity from drowning in paperwork. At Klarity (YC S18), we’re already saving thousands of hours for companies like Coupa, MongoDB and Okta that were previously spent on reading documents to extract data. We’re building a future world where all documents are read by Klarity and turned into structured data that are fed into existing systems. In the last 6 months, we’ve more than 3xd our ARR and are on track to 5xing over the next 12 months.

About the Job

You will be the VP of Sales and GTM, and own Klarity’s entire GTM strategy and execution. You will be responsible for building and leading a “Sales Team Six”, and driving our GTM strategy, revenue, and customer growth. You will also be in charge of attracting and retaining a world-class enterprise sales team.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial sales leader - someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment. You’ll spend your time developing and executing sales strategies, mentoring your team, and strategically partnering with groups across the organization.

You will guide your team through an enterprise sales motion learning about your prospect’s needs and then dive into the potential fit. Your expertise will be critical in helping articulate the value of our products and building strong relationships between the prospect and the Klarity sales team.

You have experience selling SaaS to enterprise and midmarket customers. It’s even better if you previously sold to finance and accounting or sales and sales operations teams. This is a critical position in the company and you’ll be reporting directly to the CEO/Co-founder and work closely with the rest of the leadership team. We are looking for someone with insane ambition who is up for the challenge of building a massive public company.

Your Mission

Develop and own Klarity’s sales and GTM Strategy Coach direct reports on strategies to drive sales wins and build a strong sales culture that obsesses over winning new customers and always hitting quota Hire and train a high performing sales team, while building on the existing team Build a balanced business with healthy pipeline and new logo wins, driving year-on-year growth Participate in critical decisions as a sales leader and build effective relationships with Klarity’s senior executives and key management personnel of customers and partners Track the efficacy of go-to-market initiatives & help implement the appropriate reporting and KPIs to ensure desired results are being achieved Align and manage the roadmap for Operations enhancements (i.e. Sales & Marketing technology stack & tools)

You Are

An excellent manager of managers and mentor to those on your team Driven and determined to achieve results, while maintaining a strong sense of integrity An excellent C-level communicator with strong influence and persuasion skills Able to thrive in diverse environments (AI, finance & accounting) and take initiative in building new processes from scratch Customer centric, taking full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction Interested in and capable of deeply understanding highly technical SaaS products Passionate about creating collaborative work environments for thriving teams

Your Experience

5-10 years leadership experience in high growth SaaS sales organisations A proven track record in SaaS sales, successfully selling solutions at the C-level with significant experience of direct sales management A high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels within an organization A consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast paced and technical-client acquisition driven business A Bachelor's Degree; MBA is a plus
