Known Medicine is building a predictive engine to capture patient to patient variability and determine the best drug for every cancer. We receive patient tumors, break them down, make thousands of micro-tumors, and then treat each with different drugs to determine which they will respond best to.
We determine drug sensitivity through machine learning-based image analysis. In addition to functional outcomes, we create an immune, genomic, and proteomic profile for every patient. Our advantage is in understanding not just if a drug works, but exactly which patients are the best responders and why. This allows us to develop drugs with a high likelihood of success, and discover new drugs as our engine gets stronger.
