Hey! We're Kula, the only outbound sales platform for law firms. We believe most lawyers are salespeople, and that their biggest pain point is winning the right new clients. We’re on a mission to solve this problem and disrupt a 2000-year-old global profession.

We wrote our first lines of code and acquired our first customers in January 2022. Today, we already have over 50 customers who love our product and pay us nearly $500k a year.

We are backed by some of the best investors in the world, including Y CombinatorEntrepreneur FirstAcequia Capital and angel investors behind companies like IroncladOpenSea and Stripe.

We’ve grown incredibly fast in 2022, from 0 to $500k annualised revenue. Our customers LOVE Kula but they need help to get the most out of our product. We need someone who can quickly have a significant impact on our customers and their success. This role is a lot of fun, and very intellectually stimulating. It is also hard work, requires patience and organisation.

🔥 So what will I do?

As a Customer Success Manager, you will both manage your own book of business, and work directly with the leadership team to improve our processes:

  • Point of contact for over 50 customers within 3 months
  • Execute strategies to increase adoption of Kula in law firms (e.g. craft and deliver presentations on compelling new use-cases of Kula to customers)
  • Design new processes for customer success at Kula
  • Work with Kula’s technology team to automate customer success processes

About the interview

We want to keep the interview process as enjoyable and efficient as possible! Below is a list of each step in our process, along with expected time for each step. In total, we expect the whole process to take about 2 hours of your time (including preparation).

  1. Intro Call with our CEO Nelson to discuss the position, your background, your motivation and all the initial questions you might have (20 minutes)
  2. Interview with our CEO Nelson so we can get a grasp of your skills and experience (45 minutes)
  3. Team Meet with Nelson, our CTO Saaras and one of our other team members (30 minutes)
  4. Offer will be made and you'll join Kula on our journey!
