We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure engineer to take the ownership of our backend infrastructure, optimizing for scalability, availability, reliability, maintainability and performance.
Proactively improve systems and run capacity planning to make sure the infrastructure is scaled to meet the product growth. Implement a holistic view of system health with thorough monitoring across systems and products. Improve system reliability and implement solid failure-over and disaster recovery strategies. Proactively find and implement opportunities to improve site performance. Maintain DevOps systems and ensure development uptime
Prior experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred), automation tools (Terraform or similar), container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred Working knowledge of Python, SQL, data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and distributed systems and service-oriented architectures (gRPC) Opinionated about CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, release processes Detail oriented, gritty, and learns fast
