Strategic Account Executive

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will play an instrumental role in fueling Lob’s growth towards an IPO through new customer acquisition. 

You will work with a highly capable team of marketers and business development representatives and will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and closing deals with some of the largest mailers in the world  - companies that are mainstays on the Fortune 500.

We’re looking for someone who has had proven success working Enterprise level engagements, has a knack for building long term relationships with C suite executives, can marshall resources both externally and internally to help win deals, and can think critically about how to improve our ability to move upstream.

As the Strategic Account Executive, you’ll…

  • Develop and lead enterprise sales and high priority opportunities from inception to close
  • Play a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to C-level
  • Be the expert that articulates Lob’s expertise and capabilities
  • Provide technical, value-based demonstrations of the product configured to the requirements and use cases of the sophisticated and demanding organizations
  • Manage and lead proof of concept evaluations
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs when required
  • Coordinate both external and internal resources in order to build momentum and facilitate agreements with customers
  • Provide market and customer feedback to inform our product and service roadmap
  • Work closely with members of our marketing, sales development, sales engineering, product, and engineering teams

What will you bring to this role…

  • BA/BS degree
  • A proven track record exceeding quota and 7+ years of experience in a closing role leading customers through a B2B SaaS sales cycle
  • Documented success selling into some of the world’s largest companies
  • Comfort with a fast paced environment, and a bias towards immediate action and results
  • A relentless work ethic, mental toughness, and focus
  • Ownership - willing to go out of your way to complete a job and a relentless drive to achieve results; you take initiative with minimal direction or supervision
  • The creativity to handle never-before-seen situations smoothly
  • Willingness to travel periodically for events and customer meetings (10-25%)

Additional Information: *Colorado only - salary $106,250.00 - $119,000.00 offer includes benefits, equity, 401K
Additional Information: *New York only - salary $118,750.00 - $133,000.00 offer includes benefits, equity, 401K
