Director, Engineering (Java and ReactJS)

We are building Mantys for enabling easy access to business data and insights. Scaling businesses is tough and the problem becomes multifold when the required data sits in disparate locations. We are thus, working on an integrated plug n play solution to aid companies in making better data-backed decisions by helping them simulate different what-if scenarios, track metrics and get actionable insights. We are backed by YCombinator and marquee angel investors including founders of successful startups.

Job Description:

• Mantys is seeking an innovative Full Stack Developer to join our team in building an integrated plug n play solution for easy access to business data and insights. As a Full Stack Developer at Mantys, you will leverage your expertise in programming languages, tools, and technologies such as Java, Spring-boot, ReactJS, Redux, SQL, and AWS to develop our core back-end and front-end infrastructure. You will contribute to system architecture design and play a key role in solutionizing business requirements. Knowledge and experience in the data science domain would be a valuable bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to solve problems and build innovative products planned per the Sprints.
• Utilize your in-depth understanding of programming languages and tools to develop solutions using Java, Spring-boot, ReactJS, Redux, SQL, and AWS.
• Design the low level system architecture to meet business requirements.
• Develop core back-end and front-end infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Lead the team and enable best practices

Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and React.
• Experience in full stack development.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data science concepts (preferred).
• SQL skills are a must.

Ideal candidate must have:

• B. Tech. from top-tier engineering colleges (BITS/IITs/ NITs/ IIITs/ DTU/ NSIT).
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Startup Cultural Fit: willingness to learn, innovate, take the initiative, to think beyond conventional dogma.
