About the role


  • Developing, shipping, and maintaining front- and back-end code
  • Developing the cloud infrastructure to sync and support our self-checkout kiosks.
  • Developing the on-machine software that runs the kiosks and communicates with hardware components.
  • Own and execute rapidly on new functionality throughout the technology stack including the computer vision piece.


  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing full-stack web applications
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
  • Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Experience building production-ready code that’s used regularly by many people
  • Good knowledge of a few of these languages: C++, Node.js, Go, C#, Java
  • Comfortable learning new languages, libraries, and frameworks when the solution calls for it
  • A good sense of design is ideal
