Job Overview

Our company is looking for an Account Executive for our B2B SaaS platform. This remote position will report directly to the Head of Business Development, and will play an integral role in securing potential client sales and crafting the growth of sales capacity within Matidor.

Your role will be to actively seek out, nurture and close clients who match our ideal customer profiles from the environmental and energy space. Initially, you will be generating leads through your own network, joining events, and researching online. Then you will engage and qualify them via cold calls, emails, referrals or other means. After an opportunity is identified, you will navigate your way into the enterprise decision processes including delivering compelling presentations, developing rapport with your internal champions, and coordinating with our technical team to address any technical blockers at later stages. Finally, when the moment comes you will not be afraid to push for a close and hand off to the customer success team for subsequent onboarding and retention.

We are looking for results-oriented and motivated self starters who can adapt quickly in a fast paced environment to help scale Matidor as a ground-breaking SaaS solution for data visualization. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of field services, and be confident in their ability to sell geospatial and data collaboration solutions to the energy sector in North America, including environmental consultancies and oil and gas departments. Responsibilities

*Your ACV on deals will range from $50K - $150K. You will be expected to achieve or exceed a quarterly quota of $200K after a reduced first-quarter ramp. Roughly 50% of your time will be prospecting and 50% closing.
*Manage a pipeline and report progress of each deal and your ability to penetrate each account on a weekly basis.
*Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
*Building business relationships with current and potential clients
*Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)⋅⋅ *Create compelling and customized presentations and audits for each of your accounts.⋅⋅ *Presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
*Collaborate with the product team to help define and refine the product roadmap and with the customer success teams to ensure each account’s transition from prospect to client is seamless and successful.

Requirements

*Extensive experience selling SaaS Solutions in a B2B space with proven track record
*Ideally, you came up through the ranks of SDR and now have three or more years of experience as a quota carrying Account Executive at a growing technology company.
*Aggressive and capable of opening doors across all levels and developing rapports with internal champions, with a proven track record of success in closing enterprise sales.
*A persuasive communicator skilled in all forms of communication from written emails, to Zoom calls, to presenting to a buying committee in person.
*A team player and look forward to embracing the company’s cultural value of “One Team”. You will be expected to seek out ways to help your peers and those in other departments even when doing so does not necessarily directly impact your quota performance.
*Comfortable with G-Suite, Slack and major CRM systems.
*A proficient understanding of selling to environmental consultants and direct clients in the energy sector would be a big plus
