Our Identity provides accurate, complete information that financial services companies need to make efficient onboarding decisions. Our Agent product makes it easy for employers to file with the state and federal agencies needed to establish their business across the country. Our customers include Affirm, Brex, Plaid, Mercury, Divvy, Rippling, Gusto, and others.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Middesk is backed by Sequoia Capital, Accel Partners, and Y Combinator.

The Role

  • We are looking for exceptional engineers to join our early, yet growing team

  • You will:

    • Craft innovative products to delight our customers

    • Contribute across and throughout the product development lifecycle

    • Help shape the foundation for our engineering culture

What You Will Achieve

  • As an early member of our Engineering team, you will contribute directly to the development of the dashboard, API, and additional services that our customers directly engage with. 

  • You will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and the executive team to develop, prioritize, and execute against a roadmap that directly impacts customers and drives our business ahead. 

  • You will ship fast, iterate rapidly, and identify ongoing opportunities to deliver value to customers.

Experience that would help you succeed: (Note, we don't expect you to spike in all aspects, but to grow there in time)

  • Skill in building beautiful products: You have strong, demonstrable experience shipping high-quality products, and a proven track record in raising and maintaining the bar in code quality and user experience.

  • Expertise in technology: You are familiar with the latest trends and best practices, but are well-versed enough to discriminate between hype and value.

  • Adept at problem-solving: You are able to think through customer requirements to come up with high-impact ways of quickly solving their problems

  • Driven: You have experience in the past that lends itself to being able to dive in on tactical problems, while also being able to scale with the company as the needs change.
