About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our growing team and promote our AI powered cloud observability platform. Ideally you know some about the cloud observability space but more importantly you’re obsessed with identifying and aligning with customer value. With these skills and tools you will effectively generate and qualify prospective teams, build relationships with potential customers, and set them up for success with our solution and team!

Responsibilities: Develop and execute lead generation strategies for ICPs; targeting companies using cloud-native technologies, microservices, and distributed applications. Prospect using tailored messaging and insights across all channels and socials. Qualify leads by assessing their needs and pain points in cloud observability to determine how Middleware will best impact their desired outcomes. Provide support throughout the sales process by staying engaged with prospects and teams along their journey towards success. Conduct research on potential customers and their businesses to understand their specific cloud observability requirements, and how Middleware can help them achieve their goals.

Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in sales or a related field, with a proven track record of success in generating and qualifying leads. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with potential customers at all levels. Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team.

Bonus Qualifications: Knowledge of the cloud observability industry. Experience with sales automation tools. Early stage startup experience.

Location: Middleware supports a Hybrid set-up. This role requires at least 3 days per week in our new San Francisco office.
