Office Manager/Marketing Coordinator at Modern Treasury
About the role
Modern Treasury is hiring a Office Manager & Marketing Coordinator to join our Growth team. In this dual role, you will help us reopen our San Francisco office, support our incredible team, and work on the marketing team to drive social content and community. We are a small but growing company, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to take on a two-part role.
You will help us create a warm and inviting atmosphere for Modern Treasury team members and visitors alike. You are the point of contact for building management, external vendors, and contractors to keep the office clean, beautiful, and running smoothly.
You enjoy project management, have fun putting to use your detail-oriented, highly-organized skill set to manage our day-to-day operations, plan and execute company events, and track and manage our office budget.
You love a fast-paced startup environment. You’re flexible and happy to adjust priorities as needs change. We care a lot about our people and environment, and we want to make our office a joy to work in as we build a great company.
As part of coordinating daily content, you will work closely with content and product marketing to align messages, campaigns, and priorities. You are a pillar of our brand and voice. As part of this work, you will dig into the history of payment operations and help us tell compelling and novel stories.
You will play a key role in the Modern Treasury voice and write compelling content for various social channels, including Twitter and LinkedIn. You will tell us when we need to hop into a trending conversation, and write the initial engaging copy as well as any responses. You will be the resident expert in our social media tools, using them daily to stage, publish, respond, and report.

WEEK BY WEEK
During your first week you will:
Onboard with our team
Start learning our product inside out and backwards
Develop an understanding of our two key customer personas
Read our favorite industry primers
Build an understanding of our brand positioning, product launch process, and analytics systems
Help us set up our office move
During your first six weeks you will:
Support company operations through maintaining supplies and office systems
Formally take control over our social media channels
Develop content and a regular cadence of posting
Analyze your first set of content for further learning
During your first six months you will:
Understand and help manage our office budget
Handle day-to-day operational tasks
Track data from social media to inform new posts and campaigns
Run an ad-hoc program or growth experiment such a series of events or gifting campaign
Keep learning! Contribute to team effort by owning pieces of marketing campaigns, and brainstorming new ideas for facilities or social media.
